Damavand Combined Cycle Power Plant (named after Pakdasht Martyrs Power Plant) as the largest power plant in the country includes 12 gas units each with a capacity of 9.159 MW and 6 steam units each with a capacity of 160 MW in ISO conditions. The plant, which generates a total of about 2,880 megawatts of electricity, uses V94.2 gas turbines (manufactured by Tuga Mapna under license from Ansaldo Italy) and steam turbines (E Type (E30-16-1-1 × 6.3).
